I have an error message that my reconcile balance is off by $1448.84 which looks like two different checks that were deleted due to double entry. How do I fix this?

I have an error message that my reconcile balance is off by $1448.84 which looks like two different checks that were deleted due to double entry. How do I fix this?

When you begin the reconciliation process in QuickBooks, you will receive a notification if any changes have been made that impact your starting balance. If you see this alert, simply click on the We can help you fix it link to view your discrepancy report. Take your time to thoroughly examine the report and determine if any adjustments are needed to maintain the accuracy of your records.

When you open the discrepancy report, review the previously reconciled transactions and compare them with your bank statements. If the deleted checks were reconciled from the previous period, you may need to redo your reconciliation.
