Hello there, @bienditshop!

Ideally, your transactions within 90 days will be downloaded upon connecting your bank account. This is the reason why all your 2019 transactions doesn't show up after successful set up. Yes, you can manually upload them.

  1. Go to the Gear ⚙ icon.
  2. Select Imports.
  3. Click Import older transactions.
  4. Follow the instructions onscreen to finish importing your data.
  5. Click Import.

In Addition, here's an article you can read to learn more about how you can upload your transactions: Import transactions from other sources.

Lastly, I've got you this helpful article to help manage your account and transaction: QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview.

If there's anything else that I can help you with, let me know in the comments. I'll be here to help.

I can't import any old data from Chase into qb online ... when I call support they suggest I manually enter transactions?????  The error message I get is" it can't read the CVS file".  All day I have been on the phone and I'm stuck.  I have been told this is an issue and they are working on it.  When I asked how long was told 2 hrs - 2 weeks.

I know how frustrating it is to go through multiple troubleshooting steps and not having any of them work, dp101.

I appreciate the time and effort you've spent with one of our chat support agents. In this case, it would be best to contact our Customer Support Team again (with your case or reference number). I know you already called but since this is a public forum, they can pull up and check your account in a secure environment. They'll also check further on what they can do.

It seems like your using QuickBooks Online (QBO) version. To reach out to our phone support agent, just follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Help icon on the top right.
  2. Tap the Contact Us button at the bottom.
  3. Enter a short description of your concern.
  4. Tick Continue
  5. Choose Message an agent to connect with our support.

Aside from manually entering the bank transactions and using the Comma-Separated Values (CSV), your bank might give you options for how to download/export your transactions. Please contact your bank provider if they support the QuickBooks Online (QBO) and (Quicken (QFX) file format.

If they do, let's try manually uploading your bank transactions into QBO using the other file format.

I've got a link here that provides you with articles about managing your bank transactions: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/banking/07?product=QuickBooks%20Online.

Keep me posted if you need a hand with reconciling your bank accounts or any QBO related. I'll be here to help. Take care always.
