You have me to help you reconcile your credit card transactions on the wrong account, april19.
The first thing that we have to do is to exclude the downloaded transactions. This way, you can enter them into the correct account. I'll show you how:
- From the Banking tab, select Banking.
- If you've already added them, go to the Reviewed tab.
- Select the transactions, and then click the Undo button.
- Go to the For Review tab.
- Select the transactions.
- In the Batch actions drop-down, select Exclude Selected.
- Go to the Excluded tab, and then select the transactions.
- In the Batch actions drop-down, select Delete.
Afterward, you're good to manually download them again into the correct account. Let me guide you how:
- From the Banking tab, select Banking.
- Select the File upload button.
- Click Browse, and then select the Excel file.
- Select Open.
- Click Next.
- Select the correct bank account, and then follow the on-screen instructions to download the transactions.
Once done, you're good to reconcile the account. When you're ready to categorize the transactions, you can check this article: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
However, if you want one of our Phone Support agents to guide you with the process, you can reach out to them using these steps:
- From the ? Help icon, click Contact Us.
- Enter I need help in reconciling the transactions that was posted to the wrong account.
- Click Let's talk.
- From there, select how you'll want to reach out to our Phone Support team.
I'm just around if you still need my help. Take care!
