If I am trying to reconcile a credit card account in QBO and there is a charge missing in QBO that is on the bank statement, why would it not be in QBO?

Hi there, @edear.

Thank you for posting here in the Community. Allow me to help share information about reconciling transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

It's possible that the missing transaction/charge was not added or entered into QBO. You may need to check the transactions manually and add/enter the missing ones into QBO. You can check this article for additional reference: Add and match downloaded banking transactions.

Also, for additional information on how to reconcile accounts in QBO, you can check this article: How to Reconcile an Account in QuickBooks Online.

If you need further assistance with checking the transactions, you may get in touch with our QuickBooks Online Support to check this further for you.

To contact support:

  1. Go to: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Online.
  3. On the Contact Us page, click a topic.
  4. Click on the Get Phone Number button to see the support number.

Keep me posted if you have any other concerns about reconciliation in QBO. I'm always here to help!
