Buy nowHello there. I can see that you correctly reconciled your account in QuickBooks. I've got an idea why your bank reconciliations are matching your statements but the bank register is incorrect.
It's important to note that your bank register contains all reconciled and unreconciled records, whereas your bank reconciliation only includes transactions up to the ending date of your bank statement. Thus, even though your bank reconciliation is correct, the balances reflected in your bank register may differ.
You can track the desired transactions by selecting the Filter icon above the DATE to customize the reporting period.
Since you've successfully reconciled the account, you may move forward entering new data within the program.
I'd also recommend reaching out to your accountant to ensure accurate record-keeping and financial management.

Kindly notify me by replying to this post if you have other concerns with your bank register. I'm always looking forward to assisting you. Take care.
"However, in my Bank Register the beginning and ending balances are incorrect and I'm unable to find any transactions that would cause it."
The balances in your bank register will rarely match your reconciled amounts. This is due to outstanding payments or deposits that have been recorded in QB but have not cleared the bank. The transactions causing the discrepancies should be listed when you reconcile.
