Buy nowHello @Gonz573,
No, QuickBooks Self-Employed doesn’t offer a full bank reconciliation feature like QuickBooks Online does. It’s designed more for freelancers and sole proprietors tracking income, expenses, and mileage, rather than full accounting functions.
You can, however, categorize and match transactions to ensure everything aligns with your bank statements, which helps keep records tidy, just not in a true “bank reconciliation” format.

I'm here to provide information about the availability of the bank reconciliation feature in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @Gonz573.
Please know that QBSE offers limited features since it is designed specifically for self-employed individuals. Compared to more advanced versions of QuickBooks, QBSE doesn't have the option for bank reconciliation.
While it simplifies tax filing for self-employed users by effectively tracking income and expenses, I recommend upgrading to QuickBooks Online (QBO) Simple Start if you need advanced features to keep up with your bookkeeping.
Furthermore, you can use bank rules in QBSE to speed up the categorization process of your bank transactions.
