Is there an issue with Bank Linking Up with Quickbooks?

Thanks for visiting the Community, saltygoatfishing.

Let’s run a few troubleshooting steps to re-establish the connection between QuickBooks and your bank.

Before we proceed, may I know the name of your Financial Institution? Any details you can share will help determine if there’s a reported issue.

When you update the account credentials directly from your bank’s website, you’ll have to change the information in QuickBooks. This is to reflect the changes and ensures you can use the bank feeds smoothly.

  1. Press the Transactions menu on the left panel to choose Banking.
  2. Click the Blue tile icon and select the account you’re working on.
  3. Press the Update button to refresh the online banking connection.
  4. QuickBooks Online tries to connect to your Financial Institution to manually update the account.
  5. Key in the correct username and password through the following ways:

*If Error 103 appears, tap the Reconnect my account link to enter your new login credentials.
*If you didn’t encounter any errors, click the Pencil icon to the bank’s name. Next, choose Edit sign-in info to input the most up-to-date user ID and password. Then click Save and connect.edit bank.png

I’m adding an article that provides an overview about adding your bank or credit card account: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online. It includes the steps on how to bring the recent transactions, categorize them and update your login credentials.

Also, the links below contain solutions on how to troubleshoot bank feeds issues including specific bank errors.
