Good work on switching from QuickBooks Desktop to the Online version, kentsimms. Let's go over your transactions and remove the duplicate ones.

For now, there's no specific method intended for duplicate entries. However, we can search for transactions using the magnifying glass. You can also use the Chart of accounts and filter or sort to find them.

If the transactions are from your bank account, we can exclude them. This way, it won't show up again in the bank feeds. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping, then select Transactions.
  2. In the Bank transactions tab, open the For review tab.
  3. Tick the checkbox of the transactions you want to remove.
  4. Click Exclude.

However, go to the Categorized tab to find the duplicate transactions if they have been matched or classified. From there, click Undo under the Action column.

After that, the transactions will be back to the For Review tab. Then, you can exclude them.

Once done, it's always great to review your accounts to compare each transaction with the ones entered into QuickBooks. Here's an article for your guide: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

I'd love to know how the steps go. I'm always around here in the Community if you have follow-up questions about managing your transactions. Have a great day!
