I appreciate your efforts in resolving the Loan Manager issue. I'll lend my hand and provide details and steps to fix this.
After copying and pasting the .LMR file, I take it that the Loan Manager didn't show any data. If that's the case, there are restrictions when an Accountant's copy is created from the original file.
If you've entered new loans, then these will disappear after importing the changes to avoid redundancy and issues on your books. To fix this, you'll simply want to enter the loans again.

If this isn't the case, or if the Loan Manager is missing or not working as it should, then we can do the following steps to resolve this.
First, let's go back to that .LMR file and rename it. Ensure that it has the same name as the company file.
Next, you'll want to make sure that Internet Explorer uses compatibility view for all websites. QuickBooks uses IE to display data from add-ons and built-in web pages.
Here's how to enable it:
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Click the Tools (gear icon), then choose Compatibility View Settings.
- Check Display intranet sites in Compatibility View.
- Click Close.
Lastly, if the Loan Manager is still missing or not working properly, we can run the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Here's how:
- Close QuickBooks Desktop.
- Download the QuickBooks Tool Hub installer.
- Open the installer after downloading it, then install the Tool Hub.
- Run the Tool Hub by clicking on the desktop icon.
- In QuickBooks Tools Hub, choose Program Problems.
- Select Quick Fix my Program.
After running the tool, open QuickBooks Desktop again then check to see if the Loan Manager service is working again.
