You can create a payment to each of your customer’s profile so that you can Find a Match after you split the bank transaction.
To record the payment:
- Click the + New button and choose Receive Payment.
- Select the name of the customer from the drop-down menu.
- Add all the necessary information.
- Select Save and close.
Once done, go back to that bank transaction and split the amount. After that, match it to the payment that you’ve received.
Here’s how:
- Open the bank transaction and review the Records found.
- Click the link next to each record to get more details.
- Review the Deposit to field on the forms.
- When you’re done, select Match.
