My bank made changes to their sign on method and I could not get my bank account signed in to sync. The support at my bank account said others found it necessary to disconnect their bank account then reconnect (within QuickBooks).
I followed that advice but did not realize I would loose my list of transactions under "banking" as a result. I had about 30 transactions (I think) not yet associated with my chart of accounts.
I contacted QB support - they were more interested in pushing me to do a survey about my likes- dislikes with QuickBooks in general than helping with my "current" issue, even after stating I do not want to do a survey I just need help with this issue it was pushed again. After getting extremely frustrated I figured out how to reconnect (about the same time I was given instructions on how to by chat) but lacked patience to continue with the chat and ended the chat. Hopefully I did not screw up my account.
So I disconnected my account and reconnected my account downloading from the day after the last date noted in my chart of accounts.
My Question: How can I figure out which transactions may have still been open in my "banking" tab for that bank? If the only way it manually comparing my bank statements to quickbooks chart of accounts - is there a way to download specific transactions into Quickbooks so I can complete linking those transactions to my chart of accounts?

Yes, you're correct. You'll need to review the transactions listed in your QuickBooks along side your bank statement to ensure of the missing transactions.
After looking over and noting the missing transactions, you'll need to manually upload them into your QuickBooks Online account. Here's a guide that provides detailed instructions on how to do so:
Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online
This should do the trick. If you have any other questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask. I'm always here to lend a helping hand. Take care!
