We're back with our old bank for a few months now and ZERO problems with all our checks. Once I get the nerve will likely move payroll someplace else as well and quit QB all together. It just keeps getting worse while they charge ever more. Feels like every month the fee ticks up.
Since last week my mobile deposit has not worked
I know how you feel when your mobile deposits haven't worked for over a week, Deanna. What issues are you experiencing with your mobile deposit? Have you encountered any error messages?
It would also be helpful to know if you are attempting the deposit through the QuickBooks mobile app or the QuickBooks Money mobile app, and whether you are using an iOS or Android device.
When experiencing issues with the mobile app, you can refresh it by clearing the app data. This process helps remove any outdated files or cache that might be causing the mobile deposit to stop working.
If you're using iOS, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > QuickBooks Online app > Offload App.
If you're using Android, from the Home menu, tap the three dots in the upper right corner, select Settings > Refresh Data, and then press Yes.
After that, restart your device and log back into the app. If the issue persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the app for updates.

Don't believe them just close your account with them and get a new bank account with somebody else that's what the rest of us did. These people suck.
Oh yes: went back to our old online bank Q3 of 2025 and have *zero* problems with mobile deposits. Ever since Intuit's big AI push and QuickBooks "design" overhaul - which is quite terrible and QB can't even categorize its own payroll entries as payroll vs taxes vs aliens from another galaxy - we moved payroll and accounting software elsewhere as well. Result: faster and cheaper. Bank recs take half the time and I'm not inundated by upsell offers to give me loans on my own money anymore. Kicking QuickBooks, it's payroll service, and "banking" to the curb is the best decision we made all year. There are much better, less expensive and much, much better programmed and designed online software options out there. Do the research and don't get sucked in like we did. QuickBooks has outgrown its own systems and is already creating a blackhole of "not-goodness". Of course... with its giant market share and every accountant "QB Pro" trained and "certified" it'll be around forever, but if you're a small business like me who needs something that's fast, efficient and actually works: do NOT go with Intuit products.
Agreed. Move on. I don’t have any of these issues after I moved to another bank. It's been almost a year since I switched and it is amazing to see that they still haven’t fixed it. Save yourself the headache.
