In QuickBooks, bank updates take place when we receive new information from your bank.
I suggest waiting for a few hours to give time for your bank to sync with QuickBooks. If it still doesn't update, I recommend performing a manual update.
Here's how:
1. From the left menu, select Banking.
2. On the Banking page, select Update.
3. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials and select Continue update. Note that you need to enter the credentials within 2 minutes after receiving the code.

Hello krow,
By clicking on the Update button, QuickBooks will download recent bank transactions. Here's how:
If it won't work, please go to the bank's website to check if there's an on-going maintenance. This is one of the reasons why you didn't receive any bank transactions. You'll then manually upload bank transactions using WebConnect. Please see this article for the steps:Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

I have the same issue. The bank balance updates just fine, but transactions are not coming in. I can log into the banks website without issue too so I know their site is up and running. I know I can upload transactions manually, but that seems a band-aid to cover an underlying issue.
Hi @Zegerman,
Let me route you to the correct support available to get your transactions downloaded in QuickBooks.
You may need to disconnect and reconnect your bank account to get your transactions.
But here in the Community, we're unable to view your account. I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Online Support team. This way, they can verify your account in a safe and secure environment.
They also have the necessary tools to perform a screen sharing to better help and guide you in the process.
Here's how you can contact them:
