My bank transactions are missing 3 months middle of the year. How are you recover all the transactions?

You can recover the 3 months' transactions by importing these into QuickBooks Online (QBO) using CSV format, @marin_u. Allow me to share this with you.

To begin with, the most common reason for missing transactions is a connectivity issue between your bank and QuickBooks. When the connection is disrupted, data synchronization may fail, resulting in missing entries.

To retrieve your missing transactions for 3 months, you'll have to download these to your bank's website. Follow your bank's instructions on how to download CSV files of your transactions to your computer.

Once you have the file, you can now import the transactions into QBO.

Here's how:

1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account to your web browser.
2. Go to the Bank transactions menu.
3. Select the drop-down beside the Link account,then choose Upload from a file.
   
4. Select Drag and drop or select files and choose the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, hit Continue.
5. Choose the account where you want to upload the transactions. After that, click on Continue.
   
6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then tick Continue.
7. Choose the transactions you would like to import, and then click Continue.
8. Once done select Yes, then hit Done.

After successfully importing your transactions, you can now categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online.

and what do you do when the software will download the CSV file and keeps telling you it's QB's fault. The help page is broken, and there is no assistance available??
