Buy nowThanks for coming into this forum, joe-singh. I see how important account balances are when managing financial data in your file. I've come to provide information to help rectify incorrect amounts of these transactions and match them to make sure accurate records are reviewed.
In QuickBooks, the program is dependent on what your bank shares. Each financial institution has a different time increment when they send the transactions. With that, if your bank register balance in the online program doesn't match your actual bank balance, several factors may cause the balances to vary.
Thus, you would need to verify why they don’t match, and fix them accordingly. Here are the following reasons you want to consider:
In addition to that, if there are expenses that have cleared the bank but haven't been entered into QuickBooks, the balances will also differ. You may visit this guide for additional insights: Fix issues for accounts you've reconciled in the past in QuickBooks Online.

thank you for helping; let me try to explain again. everything is reconciled properly in quickbooks. The only issue i am having is with the Chase Checking account from my bank (all other acct; saving and cc are perfect). he QB program shows the perfect matching #$s but the connected checking bank accout is showing a much higher #.
for example; when i log into chase it shows $30K in checking; the QBO linked checking bank balance showes $50k. the in QBO balance shows 30K same as chase...
the info you send was not helpful as i am dong everything according to that info
hope this explains it better
Thank you for following the provided steps by my colleague, Joe. I've got some information that can help you further.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), there are instances where the bank connected to online banking doesn't match the balance in QBO.
There may be pending transactions showing in your actual online account that have not yet appeared in your QuickBooks account, resulting in an imbalance of your account. Therefore, ensure that all pending and outstanding transactions are included in your QBO account.
