Prioritizing Bank Feed rules

I am setting up bank feed rules and they are working in exactly the opposite direction I want them to. The first rule I set up is the last to be applied. Is there no way to change the priority ranking?

Prioritizing Bank Feed rules

It's nice to have you in the Community, @Christine_Laing. I’m here to walk you through the steps on how to change the priority ranking for the rules in QuickBooks Desktop.

You can utilize the Up Down arrow button in the Rules List. This way, you'll be able to rearrange the rules to create the desired option.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Bank Feeds then go to the Bank Feeds Center.
  3. Go to Rules.
  4. From the Rules List, Click the Up Down Arrow symbol.

Thank you for replying, but I do not think that prioritizes rules. It seems that the newest rule always is numbered 1, and is always of the first rank.

That arrow just gives you the option to sort low rank to high rank, not to change the actual rank.

This answer should be deleted because it is very clearly wrong. It's the first result that comes up on Google and it wastes everyone's time reading it.
