My client is a non-profit and we receive donations through paypal, among other places. When I create as sales receipt, these donations are showing up as "sales" on the statement of activity. I want them to show as donations, like other donations do from zelle or bank transfers. I have paypal set to go to "donations," not sales. I am not sure how to solve this problem.
I actually thought I had solved my problem because when I went into Products/Services, I found that my service Donations was going to sales. So I changed it to Donations (in COA). However, these donations are still showing as Sales on the statement of Activities.
