While Santander recognizes my password entry, Quickbooks does not recognize it for the connection to download transactions. I have logged into the bank separately and then tried it, still not luck. I have tried typing all entries by hand. But still no luck. I have called Santander and they claim this is a QB problem.

Thanks for logging in to your bank's website, NikiPatt.
I have some details to share about the Santander Online Banking in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Some of the QBO users are also having issues with downloading bank transactions for Santander. Our engineers are currently working on finding the cause, so they can implement a fix.
In the meantime, you can manually upload your bank transactions using Web Connect files.
Here's how:

Hi there, @TreeMaster.
Currently, there's an ongoing investigation where some users are unable to log in to their Santander bank through QuickBooks Online (QBO), QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). Rest assured our engineering team is already working for a fix.
In the meantime, you can refer to the steps provided by my colleague PreciousB above as a workaround.

Im having a similar issue. No files I download via Santander are CSV files. Only xls. pdf and qif ? Which file can I download that will upload my transactions?
Please help
Hi @PowellDecor,
I'll provide the file types compatible for bank transaction upload in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
These are CSV, QBO, QFX, and OFX files. If your online bank doesn't offer these type of files for their transactions, you'll have to look for a third-party app that can convert their files.
You can also visit this page: QuickBooks Apps Store. It's a complete list of third-party apps that you can sync to QBO and help with the conversion process.
Once done with this process, see this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. It's a step by step guide on how you can import bank transactions to your QBO company.
