Should Business Debit card transaction to not show in QuickBooks?

Hello there, cdickson.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) helps you in recording and tracking all your business transactions. In line with this, your Business Debit card transactions should be included in your account to effectively monitor its income and expenses.

You can start by adding your Business Debit card account into your QBO account. You can create one through your Chart of Accounts. Let me guide you how.

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Click New.
  4. In the Account Type drop-down menu, choose an account type.
  5. In the Detail Type drop-down, select the detail type.
  6. Enter your debit card name in the Name field.
  7. Input all needed information.
  8. Click Save and Close.

I've attached screenshots below for your reference.

Once done, you have the option to either manually bring in your Business Debit card transactions or connect it to your QBO account's online banking feature so your transactions will automatically download into your account.

After the process, you can match any records you've already entered in QuickBooks. You can check out this article for the detailed steps: Match and categorize bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. It also contains information on how you can exclude personal or duplicate transactions.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help.
