Sometimes, when I try to open a transaction QBO gets hung up and it won't open. Instead the arrow spins endlessly.

I am running on a Mac using Monterey 12.1. When I previously posted this problem I was told I needed to upgrade my operating system, which I spent a lot of time doing. This did not help. What should I do now?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community, @bdy-kmv. Let me share some insights about your concern.

When a user has problems with QBO that could be caused by their browser, it's highly advisable to clean their cache. Temporary internet files and cache are saved to speed up loading times, but too much might clog up operations.

To begin with the trouble shooting, these are the steps:

  1. Open Safari, then select Safari beside the apple icon to the top left.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Select Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
  4. Type “intuit” in the search bar to find Intuit cookies.
  5. Select Remove All.
  6. Select Remove Now.
  7. Select Done.
  8. Restart Safari for the changes to take effect.

I'd like to make certain that this is taken care of for you. Keep me posted for updates by leaving a comment down below. Keep safe!

I have cleared the cache and  the problem persists.

I am using Chrome in an incognito window, as was recommended to me by QB customer support..

I appreciate the steps you've performed, bdy-kmv.

Not to worry, I'll help you figure this out, so you can get back to business.

You'll want to ensure to establish a stable internet connection. Or, you may consider updating your browser to the latest release. Sometimes older browser versions do not perform tasks with the same speed as the latest version. That said, making your experience on the web slower and sometimes cause your browser to crash.

To update Google Chrome:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More.
  3. Click Help and then About Google Chrome.
  4. Click Update Google Chrome.
    • Important: If you can't find this button, you're on the latest version.
  5. Click Relaunch.

If the issue continues, I suggest contacting our Customer Care Support again to investigate this further.

Don't hesitate to get back to me with any additional information on the issue, so I can get you taken care of.
