Join nowI know what to do so you can void an IRS payment from an inactive bank account in QuickBooks Online, @MADascanbe.
If the payment is already processed, you'll have the option to void it. If not, you can delete it from the account. To do so, you must first activate it. Don't worry, you can just deactivate it afterward. I'll show you how:
To activate the account:
It will now display the account as active. This time, let's locate the payment from the register and void/delete it.
That should do it! Now here's how you can deactivate the account back:

Didn't work because there must be another place to activate the bank acct.
