Hello, @julia8.

The transactions that we receive depend on how your financial institution communicates with our system. I'd first suggest contacting your financial institution to verify those accounts and further check the correct mapping if it's correctly set up.

However, if you have transactions that didn't show, you can manually upload the transactions to your QBO account. You can upload the file into QuickBooks Online using Comma-Separated Values (CSV), QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Quicken (QFX).

  1. Sign in to your bank website.
  2. Follow the instructions on how to download the transaction.
  3. Review the file format and size. (make sure the file format is Comma-Separated Values (CSV)QuickBooksOnline (QBO)Quicken (QFX). The maximum file size is 350 KB)
  4. Select Banking from the sidebar menu then click Banking.
  5. Select File upload.
  6. Click Browse and choose the file you downloaded from your bank.
  7. Select Next.
  8. From the QuickBooks Account drop-down list, select the appropriate credit card account then select Next.
  9. Map the statement fields, then hit Next.
  10. Tick the checkboxes of the transactions you want to import.
  11. select Yes when prompted to import now.

Here's an article you can read for more information (read Step 4 for account connected and hasn't connected yet): Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Once done, you can edit and assign your other transactions to the correct categories. This ensures your financial records are accurate. If you have duplicate bank transactions, you can exclude it from your bank or financial institution.

If you want to reconcile your account in the future, please see this link.

Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Take care always.

The deposits are still coming in to the "old" account.  I had deactivated it since we had closed it out.  They aren't actually being deposited to the old account, they are deposited to the new account.  They just show up in QB as a deposit in the old account and i have to go in a manually edit each deposit and change it to the new bank account and then everything is fine.  How to i get them to automatically go to the new account.  I can't seem to find anything that tells me how to change this.

I appreciate you for sharing more details about the issue, @shajulia8.

Since the old account is already deactivated, let’s make sure to connect the new one in QBO. This is to ensure transactions are automatically downloaded to the right account.

  1. Go to the Banking menu on the left panel to choose Banking.
  2. When the Bank and Credit Cards page opens, tap the Add Account button.
  3. Then, key in the bank’s information in the Search field or enter its URL.
  4. From the list, choose the correct account.
  5. Next, sign in to your bank and enter the User or Login ID and password for the financial institution's website and select Continue.

For future reference, let me share the Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online guide. It outlines the instructions on how to link an account from the chart of accounts as well as steps to keep the bank up to date.

Stay in touch if you have any clarifications or other concerns. I’ll get back to answer them for you. Have a good one.
