When I correct a previous reconciliation that had deleted transactions(like a year ago), will the balance show $0 on the History by Account for Recs?

And, this would be after I make the changes for the particular month. Thank you

Deleted transactions with Reconciled status will result in an inaccurate ending balance of your last reconciliation and the beginning balance of the following month, Sharon. To ensure the balances are correct, I'll help you enter the removed transactions accordingly. Then, manually reconcile it on the account's register.

To begin with, you can utilize the Audit log to review the correct information for the deleted transactions:

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon and select Audit log.
  2. Choose All users from the User dropdown and select Deleted/Voided transactions on the Events field.
  3. If you can't find the data from the list, modify the Date Changed dropdown.
  4. Locate and click View to expand the details of the deleted transaction.
  5. Refer to the info on the Audit History page and use it to re-enter your transactions accurately.

Once re-entered, here's how to change the status of the transaction to Reconciled (R

  1. Go back to the Gear icon and select Chart of accounts.
  2. Look for and select the account on the list or enter it on the Search bar.
  3. Click View register under the action column.
  4. Find the re-entered transaction(s) and tick the Check ✔ column until it displays the R icon.
  5. Once done, click Save.

I've also got these articles that will be handy during the reconciliation process depending on various circumstances:
