When manually trying to enter a deposit in register it changes it to a check and debits. Anyone running into this?

When manually trying to enter a deposit in register it changes it to a check and debits. Anyone running into this?

Hi there, @globalwoman2001.

 

When entering a deposit in the register manually, please make sure that you enter the amount under Deposit column. Let me guide you how.

 

Just to clarify, did you enter the deposit amount in the Payment column? If so, It'll be automatically change to check.

 

To record a deposit, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to Bank Register.
  2. Choose Add deposit in the Add check drop-down.
  3. Fill out the information needed and make sure you enter the amount under Deposit column.
  4. Click Save.

 

Once completed, you’ll be able to record a deposit in the register.

Did you by any chance enter the deposit amount in the "Payment" column instead of "Deposit" column? If you did, it will automatically switch to add Check.
