I have the steps you can perform to help fix your bank issue, @journeyinghs.
QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) depends on the financial data shared by your bank. Here are the possible reasons your bank account isn't updating in the program:
- The bank is performing system maintenance.
- There are notifications from their website that need your attention.
First, I'd suggest clicking the Refresh all button to help retrieve all the missing bank transactions in QBSE. I'll guide you how.
- Go to the Settings (Gear) icon at the upper right.
- Select Bank accounts under Transactions.
- Click Refresh all.
The screenshot below shows you the steps.
Second, the issue may be on the bank's end if the manual update doesn't work. I'd recommend signing in to their website to check if there are alerts that need your attention. Just make sure to use the URL you're using in QBSE. Once reviewed, click the Refresh all button again.
Once resolved, let's go to the Transactions tab. You can edit and categorize the transactions as Business, Personal, or Split from there. It helps you ensure your financial records are correct. To learn more about this process, visit this article: Categorizing Transactions.
Also, I want to make sure I've got your back. Can I ask the name of the bank you're trying to download the transactions in QBSE? Did you receive any error message? This way, I can check here on my end if there's an ongoing investigation about this. Please click the Reply button below to add some details.
I'm just a post away if you need further assistance. Keep safe always, @journeyinghs.
