Why do I have a difference in the KZT bank account balance

Let me explain why you have a difference in your KZT bank balance, Userespir.

The Bank balance is the actual balance of your account from the last bank feed update, while the QuickBooks balance that is showing beside the KZT bank balance is the sum of all bank transactions you've added or matched. In the normal process, these two should match.

If they don't, there are several factors why this is happening. These are due to the following:

• Outstanding transactions.
• Card (liability) account.
• Edited or deleted transactions.
• Duplicate transactions.
• New transactions for a connected account.

Ensure to categorize and match all your downloaded transactions and make all the necessary corrections to your entries. You can use your bank statement as a reference when performing these processes. Let me share additional information about the total amount showing in your reports, @userespiryakova.

The total amount showing in your bank account report is the total amount of all the transactions made for that period. While exact balance of the bank account shows as the last amount under the BALANCE column. See the screenshot below for the balance amount of the bank account. I highlighted it with a yellow box.

You can see it has the same balance amount as the one showing the Balance Sheet Comparison report.

My actual balance of $625.76 is shown in screenshot 10 and it matches my bank statement.
You have highlighted your negative balance in yellow. I do not have a negative bank account balance.

As mentioned previously by my colleague above, the balance for KZT bank in your balance sheet report can be affected by outstanding transactions that haven't cleared yet. These include checks, debit card purchases, and other withdrawals that are still processing

Let's breakdown the difference in your KZT bank account balance between the two screenshots:
 

Screenshot no. 9 (with the negative balance) reflects your current balance, including outstanding transactions. These are transactions you've initiated, like checks written or debit card purchases, but the bank hasn't deducted them from your account yet. So, QuickBooks shows a negative balance to account for these upcoming deductions.

Screenshot no. 10 (positive balance) shows your settled balance, which is the actual amount available in your account after considering only cleared transactions (transactions your bank has already processed). This positive balance matches your bank statement because it reflects the money you can readily access.

To ensure the accuracy of your bank account, I recommend reconciling and reviewing your recent bank transactions with the transactions listed in your QuickBooks register. In the attached screenshots 11, 12 and 13 you can see that there are no entries for this bank account:
clean
no status
not reconciled/

Thus, all my records are reconciled.
I believe that this difference is a consequence of the new modern type of report.
This was not the case in the classic-looking report.

2. Click the Continue option. Then, Contact Us.

3. Select Ask about something else.
