Hi @jmfocus,

I'll share steps you can take to resolve this situation where a bank transaction you expect isn't on the bank account yet.

The first thing you can try is to refresh the online bank where you expect the transaction to appear.

Here's how:

  1. Highlight the Transactions tab.
  2. Select Banking.
  3. Choose the correct bank account, ensure it's highlighted in a blue tile.
  4. Click the Update button.
  5. Check for new transactions.

See this article for alternative steps you have for this issue: What to do if you can’t find downloaded bank transactions

If you have any other issues with bank transactions, you can refer to this article: What to do if you see a bank error or bank transactions won’t download. It has a list of specific error codes you may encounter when you use the Banking feature, as well as the specific steps to resolve them.

I'll be around if you have other concerns. Share them in the comments below, and I'll get back to you.

Hi Ryan,

I do not think you are understanding my question. I recently set up Quickbooks new "Quickbooks Cash Account" This is the account that pays 1% interest. They have sent me a business debit Visa card for this new account. I have gone through the steps to connect the account to outside bank accounts in order to transfer funds back and forth. Quickbooks needed to verify my outside accounts by depositing 2 small amounts and then having me verify those same amounts in the program. So now everything is set up properly. So I have initiated 2 funds transfers into this new Quickbooks Cash account from my outside bank accounts. One of those transfers has already been deducted out of my outside account but it has not shown up in my new Quickbooks Cash account. I do not understand why this is the case since Quickbooks has already verified everything.... what is the hold up???

Hi there, @jmfocus.

I do understand that this might cause confusion to you. You can try contacting your bank account to confirm that the transaction has proceeded. Since one of your transaction is successful, this might be caused by the stored data on your browser that needs to be clean. Let's start by opening your Quickbooks Online on a private browser.

You may use these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N

You may also consider using another private browser.

If this works for you, you need to clear your browser's cache for maximum browser optimization.

I also recommend contacting our QuickBooks Merchant Support. They can check on your account in a secure environment and provide you the most recent update of your transaction.

It's always my pleasure to help you and I'll be glad to help you further if you have additional concerns. Have a great day ahead.
