reconciling

I am trying to reconcile October and am having trouble with a payroll tax payment. In quickbooks it is dated 11/02 but my bank statement paid it on 10/30. I cannot change the date in quickbooks as it was paid thro' my intuit payroll and quickbooks online won't let me edit. So I cannot reconcile this account. Any suggestions?

Thanks for joining the Community, Falconer.

Since your tax payment was paid electronically, it can't be deleted and re-entered. When there's taxes that you can't delete, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care Team for assistance. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research, and see what's possible.

They can be reached while you're signed in.

Here's how:
1. Click the Help (?) icon.
2. Choose Contact Us.
3. Enter a description of your situation in the What can we help you with? field, then hit Let's talk.
4. You'll be presented with a few options for connecting with Intuit. Select Start messaging or Get a call.

Definitely review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.

I've included a couple resources about reconciling and working with tax payments that may come in handy moving forward:

I'll be here to help if there's any other questions. Have a wonderful Friday!

I followed your instructions and never received a call back. Twice. So much for a help line.
