Buy nowI have Quickbooks pro 2019 and I am trying to reprint a couple of reconcile reports. Going through the 2022 files and a couple of months are missing and need to be reprinted. What is the procedure. All I can find is the last report created. Thanks
Hi, @online_payroll_user.
I can surely help you reprint your previous reconciliation report.
Here's how:
Once done, select Display. Then, click the Print option at the top menu bar.
For more insights, check out this article: Get reports for previous reconciliations in QuickBooks Desktop.
I've also added this article in case you'll have trouble with the previous bank reconciliation: Resolve common issues on the Previous Reconciliation report.
Feel free to leave a comment below if you have any other questions about reprinting your reconciliation report. I'd be glad to lend a hand. Stay safe and have a good one!
Sorry for the late reply. I do not have the option to change the date. It defaults to the last reconcile.
I appreciate you for providing an update here in the Community space. Allow me to chime in and provide additional information about the reconciliation report in QuickBooks Desktop.
I've checked your initial post to determine the task you want to achieve and the data you need to print. I can see you're using the Pro version of QuickBooks Desktop.
The Previous Reconciliation Report only shows your most recent reconciliation in QuickBooks Desktop Pro. We recommend saving the reconciliation reports as PDFs or exporting them to Excel each time you reconcile an account.
You'll need QuickBooks Desktop Premier, Accountant, or Enterprise to get reports for the last 120 reconciliations. I'll add the link again from my colleague's post, so you don't need to look for it (scroll down to the Note part for more info): Get reports for previous reconciliations in QuickBooks Desktop.
Also, we've created some steps you can perform if your accounts don't match your bank statements at the end of the reconciliation. Check out this link to learn more details about the process, as well as the reports you can run for reconciliation in QuickBooks: Fix issues when you're reconciling in QuickBooks Desktop.
Please don't hesitate to keep in touch if you have additional questions about printing data or managing reconciliation. We're always available to lend a hand.
Why are previous month's reconciliation reports not available in other than accountant version? We spend too much money to not have this SIMPLE information not be available. How do we access previous month's reconciliation reports? And No, they were not saved as pdfs at the time of processing.
I can see the importance of accessing the Previous Reconciliation report, @bgh1. Here’s some information that might help.
The limitation you’re experiencing is likely due to the software’s design. QuickBooks Desktop Pro only shows the most recent reconciliation to keep the interface simple and focused on current data.
In contrast, the Accountant, Premier, and Enterprise versions are built for more complex accounting needs and can maintain a history of up to 120 reconciliations. This feature is especially beneficial for accountants and businesses that need detailed tracking of their financial history.
To address this, it's advisable to save each reconciliation report as a PDF or export it to Excel immediately after completing the reconciliation. This way, you’ll have a record of past reconciliations for your reference. For more details, you can check out this article: Get reports for previous reconciliations in QuickBooks Desktop.
In addition, you can send feedback to our developers regarding this feature. This way, they can review your suggestions and more likely incorporate them in future updates. Here's how:
I’d also like to share a resource that can help if you encounter discrepancies during reconciliation: Fix issues when you're reconciling in QBDT.
If you have any further questions about accessing the Previous Reconciliation report, feel free to reply. We're here to assist you!
This is not a helpful solution. We perform "internal" book audits. When we need the recon report to match "date" of the updated reports and to compare any changes made. These "internal" audits are not completed for a few months following the actual recon. This is something QB/Intuit needs to make available to bookkeepers/office managers/controllers. If we have admin access we should have this available to us.
