Rules for Banking

I'm having a problem with "Rules" Example: I created the Rule. Answered all the questions in the boxes, name, Money Out, All Bank Accounts, Inc Any of the following, Description (which I copied from the Credit Card Site) Assigned Expense, Category, Payee, entered info on the Memo Box, clicked "add this memo to all matching transactions" Then clicked Auto Confirm and Save. The Problem is, when I update my Bank (Credit Card) it does not put in the information I set. I have other Rules that work just fine. Suggestions Please!

Rules for Banking

Good evening, @RebeccaH

It's great to see you back in the Community. Allow me to point you in the right direction to get this problem handled.

I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team so they can use a screen share tool to review your account with you. This will narrow down the problem and they can help you along the way as well. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon in the top right-hand corner.
  2. Click the Contact Us button.
  3. Give a brief description of the issue and hit Let's talk
  4. Scroll down and choose to Get a callback

It's that easy.

Feel free to reach back out and let us know how it goes. We're always here to have your back. Have a good one!

No. My problem was not resolved. Karlo was very kind and tried hard, but we could not find out why my information was not being transferred over. However, he was able to show me some areas I had not explored.  I will look these over and see if it helps me in creating my Rules. If I still have trouble I will get back to support. I have read the "How to create a Rule" but I learn better with visual than reading. I tried to find a tutorial but was unsuccessful. I suspect this something I'm doing wrong.  I'll just keeping looking
