Saving Bookmarks in Quickbooks Left Side Menu

Hello,

On the left hand side of the Quickbooks app is a "BookMarks" section.  If you select the "+" to the right of the word "BookMarks" you can configure what shows up under Bookmarks.  As you can see in the attachment I provided the first photo is the default and the second is BookMarks with "Expenses" added.  However, every time I log off and back on it reverts back to the default and "Expenses" is gone.  Why is it not saving?

Thanks.

Saving Bookmarks in Quickbooks Left Side Menu

I understand how much you want to use the QuickBooks Online application for desktop, @MikeMerk.

The QuickBooks Online (QBO) desktop application has been discontinued two years ago. This is why the application seems faulty and not saving any saved bookmarked window. I know you want to use the bookmark menu to toggle to a specific menu or page easily, like expense. In your case, I recommend running QBO in supported browsers like Google Chrome.

From there, login to your QuickBooks account. You can click the browser's Star icon to bookmark specific windows or pages in QBO. Then enter the name and other details to save it.

Once you run a new window tab (press Ctrl T), you will see this on the Bookmarks menu. Then you can also press Ctrl Shift to see your current saved bookmarks.

For additional resource, this article shows more information and features while running QBO in a browser: Understand the navigation menu in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know in the comment on how it goes or if you have other concerns. I'll be back to help you more. Keep safe and have a great day.

Saving Bookmarks in Quickbooks Left Side Menu

Hello,

I have been a QuickBooks member for about 5 days.  When I signed up this is the site they presented to me.  what do you mean "The QuickBooks Online (QBO) desktop application has been discontinued two years ago. This is why the application seems faulty and not saving any saved bookmarked window."?  Why would quickBooks direct a new member to a discontinued application?  This process of coming over from GoDaddy has been quite frankly, a nightmare.

Welcome to the QuickBooks family, @MikeMerk. I'm determined to improve your experience with our software.

You may have selected the QuickBooks Online desktop application when signing up, which is already discontinued two years ago. But no worries, I'll route you to the correct site so you can use QuickBooks without issues.

I'd recommend opening your account through the website. This way, you can bookmark a topic in your window.

Do the following:

Once done, check out this link to get started in QuickBooks: Get started with QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, you have the option to install our QBO mobile application. By doing this, you can supervise your business anytime and  anywhere. Visit this link for a mobile app tutorial: How to use the QuickBooks Mobile Application

This is so confusing.  This is the link I use to access Quickbooks (https://quickbooks.intuit.com/login/).  Are you telling me this is a link to the QuickBooks Online desktop application?  When I login this is the landing page (https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage).  Why am I being told I'm using the QuickBooks Online desktop application?
