When I am going through the bank transactions and categorising them, despite having sorted the chart of accounts by number the list is all muddled when trying to categorise a transaction to a particular ledger account. Is there any way to sort the accounts by number in the banking section as well as in the chart of accounts?

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), manually sorting the list in your Chart of Accounts (COA) by number as well as in the banking section is unavailable. We can only sort the list in ascending and descending order.

I can sort the accounts by number in the chart of accounts and have done so. The problem is when selecting an account within banking and reconciling transactions I cannot sort accounts by number. I guess that cannot yet be done.
