Statement Fetch

Hello,

i have discovered the statement fetch within QBO.  I see that Bank of America, American Express, Discover and Lowe's are pretty reliable.  I have not had any Chase statements come through.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get Chase statements to appear?

Thanks!

Statement Fetch

Hi schmidtfs!

I'm glad to know that you're using the View Statements feature in QBO Accountant. As of the moment. Chase is not included in our list of supported banks.

I recommend sending feedback about this from your QuickBooks company, so our engineers will know that you want to be able to fetch statements from Chase bank. Just click on the Gear icon and choose Feedback.

On the other hand, you can check out the updated list of supported financial institutions for your additional reference.

I'm just around if you have other questions in mind. Take care and have a good one!

Statement Fetch

So if the bank is listed on this list (supported financial institutions) it should fetch the statements?

Thanks!

Statement Fetch

Hello there, schmidtfs.

Yes, you're correct. The system will download the Chase transactions once connected to QuickBooks Online.

Chase bank has a different way of connecting to QuickBooks Online. You'll have to log in to your Chase account and activate the direct connect option. I'd recommend reaching out to the Chase support team so you'll be guided on the process.

Another way to bring your Chase transactions is through a CSV file. The items will not be downloaded automatically, though. Instead, you'll have to import them manually.

I've added this reference as your guide: Manually upload transactions.

Afterward, you can categorize the items to ensure they're listed on their correct accounts:
