Hello,

I am having two issues:

  1. Whenever I press bank feeds to download transactions, I get this:
System.AccesswiolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. at OLE_Center QBONU32/QBOLBCenter_ExecuteCmd/String strOmd,
    stuMILa: data)
    at OLB_Center.ProwQBO LB.ExecuteQECommand/String strOmd, StringD strArray/)
  2. I tried all the troubleshooting, update, reinstall program etc...and even the manual file from the Bank gives me an error of that the program cannot verify the Bank Information of the file .qbo.

Support is always oblivious with the same protocols...

Welcome to the Community space, @njabaters.

Allow me to share some insights as to why you are having some issues whenever you press bank feeds to download transactions in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Learn how to resolve "System.Argument.Exception" and "System.TypeInitializationException" errors in QuickBooks Desktop Bank Feeds Center.

System.Argument.Exception

  • System.Argument.Exception: The parameter is not valid.
  • at System.Drawing.Image.FromStream(Stream stream, Boolean useEmbeddedColorManagement, Boolean validateImageData)at System.Drawing.Image.fromStream(Stream stream)at System.Windows.Forms.PictureBox.Load()at System.Windows.Forms.PcitureBox.set_ImageLocation(String value)at OLB_ Workflow.UICtrl_OLBWorkflow.SetILogo(String strFILogoPath)
  • System.ArgumentOutOfRange.Exception: The index was out of range.

System.Argument.Exception errors are caused mainly by:

  • Special characters in a vendor name.
  • Damaged payee, vendor, or renaming rule.

To continue working on your bank transaction, follow these steps:

Step 1: Remove special characters from your vendor names

Step 2: Switch to the Classic Mode

Step 3: Review your QBWin.log files

Step 4: Fix Microsoft .NET Framework, MSXML, and C++

Step 5: Check if your bank or account has issues

Step 6: Completely uninstall QuickBooks
