The items I entered in the bank register are not showing up the on the reconcile page. What do I need to do?

There are some possible reasons why the items you've entered in the Bank register aren't appearing in the reconcile window. Let's work together to get this out.

Here are the part of the possible reasons:

 

  • Make sure the account is correct.
  • The transaction has not been posted, or was posted to a different account (most common).
  • If a transaction is already marked as reconciled in the bank register, it will not appear on the Reconciliation page.
  • Ensure that you select the correct Statement ending date period.

 

Since the item you've entered in the Bank register doesn't appear in the reconciliation page, I suggest reviewing all your entries on the Register page to verify if those transactions are not reconciled.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Locate the account and click View Register.

  3. Select the funnel icon and filter it by Reconcile StatusTransaction TypePayee, and Date.
  4. Hit Apply.
  5. Find the transaction and check if you see the letter R under the Reconcile Status (indicated by a checkmark) column. This means Reconciled.

To remove a filter, click the next to the filter name. To delete all filters, select Clear filter / View All.

If you find your missing transactions, review and categorize them so they appear on the Reconcile page.
