Today my banking is using the word "CONFIRM" instead of "MATCH". Should I treat the words the same?

Welcome to the Community, @candcelectricmot.

Yes, Match and Confirm are somewhat the same. There was an update on the Banking page in QuickBooks Online. These two words will be the same if there’s a transaction listed on the ASSIGN TO column. But if there is no transaction, the Confirm button will be considered as Add.

I've got you an article for more information about matching downloaded transactions: How to add and match downloaded banking transactions.

If you need more assistance with this, or questions about matching downloaded transactions, just let me know. I'd be glad to help. Keep safe.
