Buy nowI have been dealing with this for over 3 weeks now. I have called in countless times and spoken to countless reps and no one has been able to resolve my issues for me.
I have had quickbooks desktop for many years, currently using quickbooks desktop pro 2020 and decided I needed to upgrade to the online version. Thus began the process of converting which is where my problems began. Long story short quickbooks online was a disaster for me. Nothing went over "seamlessly", I had constant issues, none of my totals were matching up, etc. So, I am going back to desktop, at least until the end of the year, and then I will start fresh (hopefully) in quickbooks online starting January 1.
So, my question is, how do I connect my merchant services account to my qb desktop? I have called in and followed all directions given to me by the reps and no one has been able to successfully re-connect my merchant services account back to my desktop. My email address is full admin capability and yet every time I try to connect it says "Something went wrong. Please try again." This is the box that pops up every time for over a week now. Not only am I unable to see any real time banking information, but my customers are no longer able to pay from their invoices, which is causing me to lose money. I am at a complete loss as to what to do next and I am beyond frustrated at this point. Please help.
I can imagine the hurdle you've been through in fixing the issue when reconnecting the merchant services account, @cssigns8895.
I'll guide you in manually updating your QuickBooks release. This will keep your program up to date, ensuring that you have access to the most recent features and fixes.
Here's how:
Close and reopen QuickBooks Desktop after the update is complete. Select Yes to apply the updates.
done with the installation, restart your computer. and reconnect the merchant account once more.
If the issue persists, I suggest contacting Customer Support. This will allow them to investigate it further and give you the best resolution to your concern.
You can also download the latest tax table if you have a payroll subscription. This will help you to stay compliant with paycheck calculations.
Don't hesitate to reply to this thread if you have other concerns with QuickBooks and merchant services. I got your back. Stay safe.
If the same issue persists, utilize a 3rd party payment processor as another option.
Having same issue I hated the online version, as it was not as flexible as desktop with Job orders. I went back to desktop after 4 years and very frustrated wasted 3 days on the help line. Still no fix. I am looking to drop QB all together now, because it is not up to the standards I need. It should be seemless. It keeps asking me to transfer to online, which is ticking me off.
If anyone knows how to get the intergration to work for the 2022 Premier desktop. I would love the assistance. Right now I am entering the data 2x to do the 3 rd party processing.

I try this again. The help line was not very successful. The intregration keeps giving error messages.
that defeats the purpose and makes this unpalatable!
