Upgraded to Essentials, when viewing the banking transactions, it no longer shows both the Quickbooks and Bank balances. Is there way to change this?

In some QBO companies, the In QuickBooks and Bank Balances columns are no longer available. Only the old ones do. However, I'll take your post as feedback.

 

If you are concerned about reconciliation, just be sure you see all transactions on your bank statement in your bank register.

 

Please don't hesitate to go back to this thread if you have more questions about the columns in your bank register.

I understand that I can compare the bank balance in the register to the In Quickbooks one; I do miss having the option of seeing them on top of each other as I categorize transactions. I think this should be a feature that we could toggle on and off.

Yeah, I personally agree with that, SchondorfSEI. Before, we can show or hide the columns by clicking on the small Gear icon.
