Thank you for choosing QuickBooks Online (QBO), @pamkrauserealtor. I'm here to share with you some information about downloading bank information.
If you're trying to get the transactions from your bank to upload them manually to QuickBooks, you may use the 3 column format which displays transactions balance if the debits or credits are not available. Just make sure to save the file as CSV to upload them to QuickBooks.
To learn more about the CSV formats, you can check out this article: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.
On the other hand, if you're referring to the transactions on the Banking page, the entries won't give you the debit and credit details. Rather, you can see either Spent and Received columns.
For additional resources while handling your banking transactions in QBO, you can open this article: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
You can also reconcile your account to keep your books and balances in place.
