What happened to the connection to my checking account?

As of this month, I can no longer send ACH payments to my vendors. My bank account is no longer linked. Why did that happen? My bank requires 2FA and QuickBooks will not let me do that.

What happened to the connection to my checking account?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, Linda. I can help you reach out to our appropriate support for them to check why your bank account was unlinked.

Here in the Community, we're unable to access your account for security reasons. I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Checking support team. They have the necessary tools to investigate and address any issues with your bank account.

I can show you the steps on how to contact them.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. On the top right, click Help (?).
  3. Type or select Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
  • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.
  • Start a chat with a support expert.

Furthermore, you can refer to this article to learn how to process an ACH bank transfer for your customer in QBO: Process an ACH bank transfer from a customer in QBO.

Reply to this post if you still have concerns about your checking account. I'm always here to help you.
