What is the best option to resolve this situation? Attempted to update my Paypal "bank", but instead, it created an entirely new bank in Quickbooks. What should i do?

Is there a way to merge them? Already tried deleting and reconnection but I get msg saying "connection already exists".

I'll help you fix this, williambarr-getm.

When updating your bank account, you'll have to disconnect the current connection first. Then, select the date of the last transaction made with the account once you reconnect to ensure your transactions are up to date in QuickBooks.

Take note we're unable to create merge two bank connections. Since a new connection has already been created with the updated banking information, you'll want to use this one to download your transactions moving forward. Also, make sure to review the transactions that QuickBooks already downloaded from your old bank to avoid duplicates.

Additionally, here's an article that you can read to learn how to review your downloaded transactions and put them in the correct accounts: Categorize and match online bank transactions.

@KlentB this is serious, but I'm pretty sure we don't need to "sue" (someone) to download paypal trans
