When I connect my Amazon Business app, it gives me an option to bring in an entire year of transactions. However, once connected, it only ever brings in the last month.

Does anyone know how I can get around this, is it a glitch?  Has anyone been able to transfer an entire year of Amazon business purchases?

Thanks for raising your concern here, Shelley.

Let me share insights and direct you to the best possible help to bring your entire year's transactions from the Amazon Business app to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

QBO will only depend on the information Amazon Business or any third-party app provides. With that in mind, I recommend contacting Amazon Business app support to help you locate the root cause of why only last the month's transactions are being shown.

If you want to place your downloaded transaction to any specific account, you can read this article: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

In connection with another user's question about the Amazon Business Purchases app in QBO, you included, as an aside, this link: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Onlineabout categorizing online BANK transactions in QBO. Have you found a way to use rules in APP transactions in QBO? When I go to rules, it only lets me choose among money in or out of bank transactions, not app transactions.

I’d like to provide more information about using the bank rules feature for app or integrated transactions, CJ.

Currently, applying bank rules to app transactions isn’t available. Bank rules are specifically designed for money-in or out transactions from bank or credit card. App transactions, on the other hand, are generated by connected apps or integrations and are managed differently in the system.

That said, I understand the advantages of being able to apply rules to app transactions. To help improve QuickBooks, I suggest submitting your feature request directly to our Product Development Team.

Here’s how you can share your idea directly with our team:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Select Feedback from the Profile column.
  3. Enter your suggestion and click Next.

You can visit Intuit's Product Updates webpage to stay up-to-date with the latest news about product enhancements.

In the meantime, you can manage the transactions manually or review your app’s integration settings to see if categorization options are available.

Feel free to leave a comment if you have any further questions about managing app transactions. I’m here to help!
