I can help you get your latest transactions, @trevon.

To get the most recent available transactions from your online banking account, you can execute a manual update.

Perform the following actions:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and go to the Banking tab.
  2. Select the bank account.
  3. Click on the Update button.

If you see a notice requesting further authentication, proceed with the update by following the on-screen instructions.

Here's more information on what you can do if you receive error notices or are unable to detect recently downloaded bank transactions:

What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.

After adding your transactions, you can now match and categorize those transactions and reconcile them to ensure your books are accurate and there aren't any duplicate transactions:

Good evening,

I have done this dozens of times. As my posts mentions, “when I update my bank”…

Are there alternative solutions? I read through other threads with the QuickBooks team suggesting the same response to the same questions.

If the only option is to import manually, I might as well use Google sheets and cancel QB…

Best regards,

Trevon

Hi there, @trevon. I've come to help you ensure QuickBooks Online (QBO) will download your bank's latest transactions.

Before performing troubleshooting steps, may I know the specific bank you're having trouble with? This way, I can check if there's a connection issue between your bank and QBO.

I also suggest reaching out to your bank to verify if there's any maintenance issue that might cause connection problems between the programs.

If verified that everything is fine on your bank's end and still can't see the latest transaction, you can also check your Banking menu. Transactions might be stuck somewhere on the banking page. For your reference about the process, please see this article: What to do if you can’t find downloaded transactions in QuickBooks Online.

However, if you still experience the same thing, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care Team to further investigate what is causing transactions not to appear on the For Review tab.

Also, regularly reviewing your accounts is a good practice to make sure the amounts in your QBO company match your real-life bank and credit card statements.

Please leave a reply below for any additional details you may add. I'll be right here to help you once more. Have a good day.

@trevon

Utilize MT Online as a workaround. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed.
