Welcome to the Community space, @sunnyvoltssolars. Let me share some information on mobile deposits.

You might have reached the check limit which could be why you can't process mobile depositYou can still cash or deposit your check elsewhere after reaching out to the check writer.

You may refer to this article to learn more about mobile check deposit.

After you deposit the check, you'll need to record it in QuickBooks. Here's one way of doing it.

Record it as an invoice:

  1. Click the + New button.
  2. Select Invoice.
  3. Fill in the required details.
  4. Click Save and close.

After that, we need to receive the payment from the invoice we created:

  1. Click the + New button.
  2. Select Receive payment.
  3. Choose the customer we created the invoice from, then finish filling up the required details.
  4. Click Save and close.

Where can I deposit a physical check?

Thank you. Am I able to deposit to any bank ATM or does it have to be with a bank I have an account with? My business bank account is with Quick Books.

You're very welcome, @sunnyvoltssolars, and thank you for the prompt reply. I'll be happy to share where you can deposit the money and the steps to show it in QuickBooks.

We should deposit the money to your bank account connected to QuickBooks. After that, we'll perform the steps for transferring money into your QB Checking Account.

Here's how:

  1. From the Banking services, select QuickBooks Checking.
  2. Pick Transfer, then Transfer money.
  3. Type in the amount you want to transfer.
  4. Click the From ▼ dropdown, and select your connected bank account.
  5. In the To ▼ dropdown, choose your QuickBooks Checking account.
  6. Tap Next. Then, select Finish transfer.

You can check out this article for more info: Use your QuickBooks Checking account.

Where can I deposit a physical check?

I currently do not have a business account. The only one I have is Quick Books. Is there another way for me to deposit? Am I able to deposit the check through an All Points ATM or a Green Dot ATM?

Where can I deposit a physical check?

Hello there, @sunnyvoltssolars. I'm here to answer your follow-up questions.

To deposit your physical check, I recommend contacting your bank directly to explore the available options, your bank will be able to provide you with specific instructions on how to deposit the check and any requirements they may have.

On the other hand, the option to deposit a physical check through an All Points ATM or a Green Dot ATM is unavailable. These ATMs are primarily designed for cash withdrawals and purchasing transactions, rather than check deposits.

I'd recommend reconciling your QuickBooks accounts every month. This will help you manage your income and expenses and detect any possible errors accordingly. For the step-by-step guide, you can refer to this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

I'm happy to share this article for future reference to learn how to use your QuickBooks Checking debit card to withdraw and make purchases: Use the QuickBooks debit card to get your cash.

Keep me posted in the comments if you have other banking concerns and questions about managing deposit transactions in QBO. I'll gladly help. Take care always
