Why hasn’t my payment from a client been deposited into my bank yet? QuickBooks recorded the payment received on 10/20, but hasn’t been deposited yet.

Allow me to provide some information about when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments into your bank account.

 

QuickBooks will deposit the payments depending on your deposit speed. However, if it's the first set of payments, it'll be deposited into your bank account within five (5) business days. It'ill take a bit longer while we set up your account.

 

To check your deposit speed, please follow the detailed steps below:

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings.
  3. Go to the Payments tab.
  4. Then, review the Deposit Speed section.1.PNG

Also, you can go to your Merchant Service account and check the status of the processed payments from there. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. From the homepage, select Activities & Reports and then Deposits.
  3. Select the date range in the Dates field.
  4. Click Search.
  5. It'll list all your daily deposits, when we put them in your bank account, and the totals.  

Some banks hold onto funds after we deposit them. At this point, you'll need to work with your bank if they require additional steps. If you've checked with your bank, but still need help, reach out to our team.
