Why is this deposit taking so long? when does it go back to normal?

One of my companies updated yesterday. Today every line in my deposit takes 5 extra clicks. I type in account number and a drop down box says No matching categories. I have to click see and add more categories. Then I have to type my account again and then click it and hit the select button. After an hour with Quickbooks, its an update..........what the heck..........

It's good to see you here in the Community, @jordangruendel24.

I want to ensure your deposit concern is addressed, and I'd like to clarify things and help you from there.

Are you referring to your customer's payments that haven't yet been deposited? If so, you'll want to check the status of the deposit from your Merchant Service account. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. Go to the Activity & Reports tab, then All Statements.
  3. Find the month you want to see and select View
  4. From the Status column, you can verify if the deposit is FundedWithheld, or Batch Deposit Returned
  • Funded - Successfully deposited.
  • Withheld - The payment is on hold.
  • Batch Deposit Returned - Returned payments.

If you see Withheld or Batch Deposit Returned, you'll get an email from us with steps to fix the issue. I'm adding this article for more information: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

However, if you're referring to the deposit page that isn't working or keeps on loading, you can clear your browser's cache to fix the issue. It's possible that the browser you're using had a data issue.

Come back to this post if you're referring to something else, @jordangruendel24. I'll be around to provide further assistance.

You may also want to view the status of your sales transactions in QuickBooks. You can go to the Sales menu and select All Sales.

Wishing you all the best!
