Why isn't my expense import working?

My expense import isn't working.  I keep getting an error message.  It is a .csv file already.

Why isn't my expense import working?

You can use the trial version of csv2qbo as a workaround.

Why isn't my expense import working?

I understand importing expense transactions using CSV files in QuickBooks is important with your business, Joe. Let me help you with your concern.

Beforehand, I'd like to know the error message you received when importing your expense transactions into QBO.

Make sure to follow the correct mapping when importing your CSV file.

Try to open another browser as an Incognito browser. Also, let's run some basic troubleshooting steps:

  1. Restart your web browser.
  2. Then, clear your browser's cache.
  3. After, add Intuit as a trusted trusted site.

Refer to this article on how to troubleshoot browser cache and Intuit-specific cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks:  Troubleshooting browser problems.

In addition, you can check this article to learn how to categorize the transactions you download from your bank or enter into QuickBooks: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed

If you have further inquiries about importing expense transactions, just add comments below. I'll be here.
