Why isn't the "Account Summary" option working under "Accounting", "Reconcile"? It's the summary of accounts and where they are in the reconciliation process

That’s a good question, @kristy17.

The account summary shows the transaction history of an account for a specific period. This also play multiple functions in QuickBooks.

Since the Accounting menu has a complete list of all the company's accounts and balances, it is designed to access somewhere like in reports and sales transactions. This way, it breaks down the complete records you have in the system and gives your customers a snapshot of their recent events.

In case you’d like to add the account summary to your invoice in the future, you can follow these steps below:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top right.
  2. Choose Custom Form Styles
  3. Select the New Style▼ drop-down and create a new custom template.
  4. Go to the Content tab.
  5. Click Edit to the body section.
  6. Mark the box on the Show on Invoice. If you’re using an imported invoice style, please do not select the option.
  7. Press Done.
