Why my bank account shown only 6 months

Hi there, @user3056791.

Welcome aboard to the Community. I can share some clarification about the banking feature in QuickBooks.

It looks like you recently link your bank account to QuickBooks. When performing the process, the system can download 30 to 90 days of transactions or more, but it depends on your bank.

To bring over older data, I recommend exporting transactions from your bank's website via CSV. This way, you can upload the file in QuickBooks manually.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Imports below Transactions.
  3. Choose Import older transactions

You can also check this article for more details about review what you imported to QuickBooks (scroll down to Step 4): Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Drop me a comment below if you have any other questions related to banking. I'll be happy to help you some more.

If your bank supports SlickConnect, utilize the trial period of it as a workaround.

Welcome to the Community, @JSP123JSP. I see that you are following the steps from my colleague about importing transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed. I can help you import your older transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To import your older transactions, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Hover your mouse to Transactions, then click on Bank Transactions.
  3. In the Link account drop-down, select Upload from file.
  4. Select the Drag and drop or select files button and then choose the file you downloaded from your bank. Then hit on Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then click on Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks, then click on Continue.
  7. Choose the transactions you want to import.
  8. Hit on Yes.
  9. Once okay, click on Done.

@JSP123JSP

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools with a one time license (e.g csv2qbo @ $60) as a workaround.
