Why will my Quickbooks Account not update my banking information?

My banks and credit cards say they are updating, but no new information is coming thru.  I have tried to update several times on different computers and it just comes back to the last update time.  Help!

I'll hop in and fill you in on the details of the issue you had with downloading transactions in QuickBooks Online.

 

If downloads appear to be delayed or stuck, the problem could be with the bank. To check, go to your bank's website.

 

We can double-check the URL that QuickBooks uses to connect to your bank:

 

  1. Select Bookkeeping, then Transactions, and finally Banking.
  2. Select Account Link. You won't need to create an account; all you'll need is the URL mentioned.
  3. Look for and pick your bank.
  4. Copy the URL for your bank from the list.
  5. Use the copied URL to log in to your bank or credit card's website.

Return to QuickBooks if everything seems good and start a manual download. 

 

here's how:

 

  1. Go to Bookkeeping, select Transactions, then select Banking.
  2. Select Update.

If the issue persists, I suggest disconnecting and reconnecting your bank account to resolve them.

Utilize the trial version of MT Online to isolate the issue. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed. If the same error persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank or connection.
